"Past conflicts, some fatal, have created tension between non-aboriginal police forces and aboriginal people. These incidents are mostly likely to occur in urban centres, but the shooting of Dudley George in Ontario supports the need for greater sensitivity"

Contrast this with the Wikipedia article on Dudley George:

"Dudley George was the only Aboriginal person killed by police during an aboriginal land claims dispute in Canada in the twentieth century."

Perhaps the racist value judgements in this article (Aboriginal police in Canada) should be removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.46.188.194 (talk) 23:23, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
