It is said that this song has been played by the band on the titanic while the ship sunk. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 149.225.0.158 (talk • contribs) .
- That's what I've heard. However, according to the RMS Titanic article, the last song played by the ship's band is actually uncertain. While Abide With Me is not mentioned in the article, it does mention that the last song may have been Nearer, my God, to Thee. Andrew (My talk) 17:29, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

I have removed foreign-language lyrics from the article and copied them here, because copyright information on them has not been provided yet. The original lyrics are in the public domain, so we can include them. For the others, I can't tell if they are copyrighted, because author names and year of publication have not been provided.
