[edit] Biblical Reference

I read that Abel Magwitch represents the Biblical character Abel, while his well-off nemesis Compeyson represents Cain. Anyone have any comments on this?

I don't think Dickens' work has any abundance of biblical reference to it, perhaps if you can find another case of a possible biblical reference it would support the claim Magwitch 09:16, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
