[edit] remove unexplained tag -- see talk

Some tages tell the reader to look in the associated talk page for a discussion of the reasons for the placement.

I asked, over at WP:AN/I.-- when the person who placed the tag hasn't provided an explanation how long after giving the tag placer a headsup can one remove the tag. I was told there is no obligation to give a heads-up. If they haven't explained the tag within 24 hours, I was told, feel free to remove it.
