I am appalled to see Abdul Wadud's notability questioned. The man played on Julius Hemphill's Dogon AD. He isn't just notable, he is LEGENDARY, and deserves an expanded article.

Indeed. I'll add a mention of the article on him in Grove Jazz; that should dispel any doubts over his notability, at least. --Camembert (talk) 14:59, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
