Abdulkadir Kure

Abdulkadir Kure was governor of Niger State in Nigeria from 29 May 1999 to 29 May 2007. He is a member of the ruling People's Democratic Party (PDP).

In May 2002, he introduced sharia law in Niger State.

Kure is married to Zainab Abdulkadir Kure, a former civil servant and, since 2007, a member of the Nigerian Senate. They have two daughters and four sons. [1]
