[edit] ABC3
As the current plans for ABC3 are not yet officially confirmed in a press release, please discuss the proposal of ABC3 in this article in the meantime. Stickeylabel 02:13, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
- Surely ABC3 should go in an article of its own.. It has nothing in common, apart from programming, with the well and truly dead-and-buried ABC Kids - first of all it's actually getting government funding ($50 million, as opposed to ABC2's $2 million and ABC Kids/Fly's zilch), secondly it's a completely different name, and thirdly it's a new channel - not a replacement.
- To that end I think I'll go off and start the ABC3 article now.. timgraham 10:58, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
- The ABC3 should be built when a solid press release is available. At current all that is available is a tentative title from a few news outlets. As well as this, the channel is subject to Australia's federal election, so the channel cannot be confirmed. At current there is not enough information to warrant an article. Please wait for an actual press release from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Stickeylabel 11:02, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
- I say we hold off on any article until it can be officially confirmed, either via an ABC or government press statement. Our government has proposed a lot of things in the past, most of which differ slightly until an official announcement is made. --Smacca 11:14, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
