[edit] Genre Restrictions
I'm not sure why someone has edited the article to infer that ABC2 does not have genre restrictions because the legislation passed. It doesn't take effect until January so I don't think it should say things such as "they were not allowed to show such and such" while they still aren't. HarryKnock 06:42, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

- The ABC website favours ABC2 over ABC 2. Changing templates to reflect this. --Kelvin 11:19, 24 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] ABC2 Infobox
"Cyberjunkie" has reverted the ABC2 infobox back to a channel's infobox. I do not understand this, as ABC TV has a network infobox, yet ABC TV is not a network, it is merely a channel. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation is the network. And ABC TV and ABC2 are just channels. Can we have one uniform infobox for both ABC TV and ABC2? - Stickeylabel 07:16, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
If your definition of a network is a company that broadcasts TV, then yes, the ABC is a network. However, I think a more common usage is for a nationally distributed FTA channel, especially one with regional variation. Thus ABC TV is a network, comprised of ABC TV Victoria, ABC TV NSW, etc. The Nine Network includes Nine Sydney, Nine Melbourne, etc. When Viacom owned both CBS and UPN, no-body was calling Viacom the "network" - CBS and UPN both had that title. matturn 08:58, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Programming pre-2007
What exactly did ABC2 show prior to the lifting of the genre restrictions? I'm curious myself, but this info should also be on the page. Nova Prime 04:24, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
- Using [1] you can see ABC2's scehdule throughout its entire life. Stickeylabel 05:15, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
- Mainly a lot of repeats - there were genre restrictions on the channel so children's programming, repeats of news and current affairs shows, archived sport, and plenty of Stateline - not much has changed as of yet, although there are quite a few more imported shows and the amount of non-repeated content is slowly increasing. timgraham 06:05, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Degrassi is Rollercoaster
See [2]. "Degrassi Junior High" as listed in the table is no longer screening, it being replaced by "Degrassi High". When that finishes, it will be replaced by another Rollercoaster program. DJH no more holds the timeslot than the other Rollercoaster programs before it. Yet the earlier ones get called "Rollercoaster" and DJH doesn't. "Why don't you change it then?" Because someone reverted it last time I did that. Along with making the table again claim that the WNBL is netball. matturn 13:16, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Ergo Proxy
A new anime series is starting July 3 replacing Cowboy Bebop [3]
[edit] Current schedule?
Okay it's the summer schedule starting Mid-February. The ABC2 schedule looks a lot better then ABC1.
