A Salt with a Deadly Pepa is the second album by female rap group, Salt-N-Pepa. The album was released in 1988 by London Records. Though not as successful as the groups previous album, Hot, Cool & Vicious, the album was reached #38 on the Billboard 200 and #8 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop album chart. The album spawned three singles, "Get Up Everybody (Get Up)", "Shake Your Thang" and "Twist and Shout".
