Pirateology: A Pirate Hunter's Companion is a book created and published by the Templar Company plc in the UK and published by Candlewick Press in America in 2006. The book is supposedly the journal of Captain William Lubber in his pursuit of the pirate Arabella Drummond around the world. Pirateology is the fourth of five books in the 'Ology series, which also include Dragonology: The Complete Book of Dragons, Egyptology: Search for the Tomb of Osiris, Wizardology: The Secrets of Merlin, and Mythology: Greek Gods, Heroes, & Monsters. The actual author is Dugald A. Steer, while the book was designed by Nghiem Ta and features the artwork of Helen Ward, Ian Andrew and Anne Yvonne Gilbert. This book tells of the chase of Arabella Drummond, the notorious female pirate, across the seven seas.

Trivia:
In the September 13th, 1723 Journal Entry is a Treasure map with cryptogram message. The decoded message reads: "My treasure is located [here] NW of the island near [the] old lava flow. Walk twenty paces NW from the blackened tree. [The] chest is nine feet below. AD (Arabella Drummond)
The treasure Arabella Drummond buried might be on Krakatoa Island,Indonisia. If you go to the page with a picture of Captain Kidd burying treasure there is a small map of Krakatoa island. If you compare it to the treasure map by turning the angles, you see that the islands mach up.
