[edit] 5000
Hi there. I didn't realise you'd done the page move by cutting and pasting: someone has got sniffy and reverted it. But panic not - I'm sorting it as we speak ( I hope - have asked the admin wot reverted to help w some page wrangling to make the histories good). As you've by now realised, the "move" tab at the top of the article is the way to move pages - discussion, history an' all. Sorry, should have offered you more help at the beginning! Anyway, we'll get there...JackyR 16:40, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
- Done. Ooh that was painful. But perhaps you could slog thru the "What links here" - I'm off to make dinner! JackyR 18:20, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

- Um, I guess I should've researched how to do it better beforehand.. Anyway, in this process, someone decided to make a similar but worse named article, Feeding the multitude. I'll suggest a merge. A J Hay 20:51, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
- "Feeding the multitude" allows the same article to cover both of the miracles of this kind. I've merged in the other direction. Gazpacho 02:40, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

- Um, I did want to create a very useful template on the Gospel of Mark which instead of going by verse or chapter, it went by events (pointing out the importance of the vaious miracles as points of the story). I guess, for now, I can live without a separate article for each miracle. A J Hay 23:35, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:Neutral point of view (Christian articles)
Hi, sorry to be getting back to you late. I had stopped looking at the TfD page where our discussion was going on. Anyway, although I agree with what you've written at Wikipedia:Neutral point of view (Christian articles), I don't think it needs to be formulated so specifically as a Wikipedia policy or guideline. There's nothing there that isn't already covered in WP:NPOV, and having a separate page for NPOV in Christian articles is just instruction creep. I really think the best way to counter bias in Christian articles is simply to edit them in such a way as to remove the bias. If you find an article where the bias is particularly egregious, slap a {{POV}} tag on the top and then discuss your issues on the talk page. You might also want to consider participating in WikiProject Christianity, if you're not already. That would also be the place to bring attention to any problematic articles. [edit] Aktenzeichen XY... ungelöst
I have translated this article, let me know what you think. --Sam Blanning (formerly Malthusian) (talk) 16:35, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
- Thankyou so much! I was researching the basic effectiveness of crime programs, but I couldn't find anything on the original show. While I assume that the traslation itself is of good quality, I'd like to congratulate you for helping to create a resource that lay researchers (like myself) will be able to use for years to come!:) A J Hay 23:40, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Resurrection of Jesus
An anon has just made a large number of changes to the text of this article, which appear to me to tilt it towards a more fundamentalist view of the topic. Since you've been invovled in the article before, I thought you might want to have a look. David Underdown 10:00, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- You know, that's got to be the most depressing thing about wikipedia, when someone comes in changes something that you've spent 10-20 hours working on (it all ads up). Here it is after I finished most of my major edits. [1]. Before, it was like this: [2], obviously in need of a cleanup. Just about all of the work there was done by me. I was quite proud of it. I even added the "PLEASE READ FIRST: this article's purpose is to provide a brief and neutral perspective, please do not attempt to support or criticise any view" Things as the top of each section.
- As is, I'm currently doing Med Revue, and haven't the time to change the article. But to be brutally honest, I'm not sure if I would even if I had the time. The article has gone through many, many trials of edit-come-reverts (and will go through many more), all because of radicals, both Christians and Athiests, who can't see the beauty of each other's view.A J Hay 12:06, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your Article on Fornication
Laws on sex outside of marriage are in fact enforced in a number of states. For example, North Carolina courts regard Lawrence v. Texas as applying to sodomy laws only and continue to enforce laws on fornication and adultery. (Note: "criminal conversation" is a euphemism for extramarital sex) See e.g.

[edit] Template:Christ NOTOC kills TOC of pages
Hey AJ Hay, You did a very good job with the Template:Christ, but I found a slight problem with the NOTOC if {{Christ}} is included in a page, so I'm trying to fix the problem. Hopefully you see an easy solution to fix it, so that it can be used a lot. --Eric R. Meyers (Ermeyers) (talk) 01:22, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
Oops! I killed your TOC, but I fixed it with <nowiki>{{Christ}}</nowiki>. --Eric R. Meyers (Ermeyers) (talk) 01:26, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
Thanks, but I haven't done that much work on it at all - about an hour of copying existing templates onto the new template... as for the NOTOC issue, I'd like to include others on it, so I'll talk about it on Template Talk:Christ
[edit] Death of Jesus
Just letting you know that someone has recreated the Death of Jesus article after your merger.--Andrew c 01:30, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
