A Dating Story is a Banyan Productions show that features a real-life matchmaker and two people they’ve always wanted to "fix-up." A Dating Story follows the new couple from their preparations for the date (he’s picking flowers . . . she’s picking out clothes), to the couple getting their first look at each other and then heading out on their blind date. It could be a simple, fun day spent with a new friend – or a night to treasure forever.

A Dating Story was created to complement the shows A Baby Story, A Wedding Story and A Makeover Story on The Learning Channel(TLC).

A Dating Story is no longer in production.
