New Queer Cinema: A Critical Reader

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

New Queer Cinema: A Critical Reader is written by Michele Aaron, a lecturer on Film Studies at Brunel University, London. Her book is divided into four sections, each focusing on a different aspect of the New Queer Cinema film genre of the early 1990's. The separate sections are dedicated to defining the genre, evaluating the filmmakers, observing both national and geographic differences, and theorizing spectatorship.
