Down II: A Bustle in Your Hedgerow is the second album by Down. It was released on March 26, 2002. It is usually referred to simply as Down II.
Down released this album seven years after their first, NOLA. Because Down is a supergroup, the band went on hiatus in 1996 so that members could focus on their main bands (namely Eyehategod, Corrosion of Conformity, Crowbar and Pantera). Down was reformed in 2001 with Pantera bassist Rex Brown replacing Todd Strange. The band moved into Phil Anselmo's barn in southern Louisiana dubbed "Nodferatu's Lair" (sic) where they lived and recorded the album in 28 days without anyone leaving the house, in order to give it the "bluesy" feel.
