The A3220 is a primary A road in London. It runs from Clapham Common to the A40 Westway. From Clapham Common it runs north and crosses the River Thames at Battersea Bridge. From here until its end, it forms the western boundary of the London Congestion Charge. The route runs alongside the Thames on its northern bank before turning north and becoming two separate roads as a one way system. The road returns to a standard single carriageway form north of the A315 road and the road becomes once again a two-direction single carriageway. At White City the road becomes dual carriageway and was formerly the M41 motorway.
