Yes, many of his novels and stories have been translated into wonderful films and television series - see A. J. Cronin at the Internet Movie Database for further information - the best films are The Citadel, The Keys of the Kingdom, The Stars Look Down (all available through Amazon), and The Green Years (available through some classic film sites).
