A. Lawrence Foster (birth and death dates unknown) was a U.S. Representative from New York.
He studied law in Vernon. He was admitted to the bar and commenced practice in Morrisville about 1827.
Foster was elected as a Whig to the Twenty-seventh Congress (March 4, 1841-March 3, 1843). He served as chairman of the Committee on Expenditures in the Department of the Treasury (Twenty-seventh Congress). He settled permanently in Virginia.
