Talk:A*Teens
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is the most convuluted and ugly wikipedia article I have ever read.
- By all means, if you feel that you can fix an article, be bold and make changes! - Stoph 22:16, 3 October 2005 (UTC)
"They were first called ABBA Teens, but the members of the band wanted to be able to create their own music, and not be solely based around ABBA" I not sure, but I think it was the ABBA (or Björn & Benny) who forced ABBA teens to change their name...
I changed the information. Now I´m think it´s better.

[edit] Rollback of yuckfoo
Yuck, there are MANY gay men who are proud fans of A*Teens (hell I can point you to a half dozen) that is not vandalism. ALKIVAR™

[edit] I agree with ALKIVAR
It´s not vandalism... I'm gay and proud fan of A*Teens. (User:Fizzerbear 11:54, 15 November 2005 (UTC))
yet im strait and i can name dozens of people who like(d) the a*teens..i think it should be taken out
I'm glad it was changed, that was unnecessary. But the article still needs more info. I did most of the A-Teens bio in the spanish wikipedia.
I removed that reference because I felt it was unnecessary and not relevant to an encyclopedia entry. I agree, the page needs more information, but I was never into the A*Teens myself so I can't spout out much info. I can translate the content of the Spanish page, rephase as nececssary, and add it to the English page, which I guess I'll do in a few hours. Fabricationary 20:44, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] "Disappeared"
Could someone block 134.241.39.254 because they keep editing the page and changing "disbanding" to "disappeared". A*Teens have not disappeared. They have disbanded. --PrinceYuki 07:34, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Grammar
There are some serious grammatical issues in this article, particularly capitilization. Levodevo 01:05, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Brazillian Band??
Why is there a reference to a brazillian band? I actually think it was either one of them or their friends who wrote that .... because I don't know any band covering a*teens, nor do I think anyone would write that without referencing their name/site/Wikipedia Link - Angel Of Wisdom 16:48, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] B*Teens?
Looking at the last change made some entries for A*Teens have been changed to B*Teens. Is this correct? It seems wrong to me but I am no expert on the subject so obviously not qualified to undo it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 205.251.229.73 (talk) 16:32, 21 January 2007 (UTC).
[edit] Biography Subsections
The use of album names to mark subsections in the biography is extremely confusing to me. I look at each subsection expecting to find information about that album but instead I read a timeline of events in the lives of the A*Teens around the time when that album was released. I think it would make a lot more sense to seperate the album details from the biography section. Each album subsection can contain details about that album, absent of a timeline of events. The biography section can contain a timeline of events, along with the more in-depth information such as the dates on which awards were given and which artists the A*Teens toured with while promoting which albums, information which isn't of much interest to someone who isn't looking for a biography.
I'd try to rewrite, but as it is, I don't much understand this article. I started to correct some grammer but was hit in the face with "That month, the A*Teens won a Viva Music Award" and no idea which month was being spoken of, so I'd rather someone who knows more about the A*Teens than I do make the changes. -- The one and only Pj 02:14, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Name
I disagreee with the name "A*Teens". First, if we really want to follow the logo, we can even write "A☆Teens". But looking at the official site, they always write "A-Teens". So I think we should move to "A-Teens". Barraki 17:39, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. [edit] Unreleased Material From ABBA Generation?
I have come across some material by A-Teens that could possibly been cut from The Abba Generation album and I was just wondering if anybody knows if they actually recorded these ones: "The Winner Takes It All", "Waterloo", and Chiqtitia. could someone please let me know if they actually recorded these songs. Headstrong 345 (talk) 00:00, 5 May 2008 (UTC)Headstrong 345
- Not sure about Chiquitita and The Winner Takes It All, but Waterloo probably yes. They did perform Waterloo on some concerts back in 1999 - at least, this fact was mentioned on their forum long time ago. 195.248.189.182 (talk) 21:01, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
