[edit] Through Peterborough to Norman Cross?
Didn't the A16 go through Peterborough? In 1991 the A16 is described in an Statutory Instrument as "A16 Norman Cross-Grimsby Trunk Road" [1]. [SABRE http://www.sabre-roads.org.uk/roadlists/f99/15.shtml] says it went through the centre of Market Deeping prior to the Deeping bypass opening. Did the A15 and A16 just swap numbers south of the Deepings, and if so, did this all happen when the Deeping bypass opened? Dupont Circle 14:26, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
