Just A Torontonian Peon, ATP maybe. Will write articles on Toronto things especially when there is a catergory for it.
Toronto things;
- The Menagerie Pet Shop on Parliament Street within Cabbage Town, has been a fixture in Toronto for over three decades. They have a giant green lizard figure perched over one of their store entrance. I will write something on it once I get my hands on a picture of the giant green lizard which it is locally reknown for.
- Bay Street Videos, the largest DVD collection in Toronto. Local, has been around a long while, it's called Bay Street VIDEOs. Will have to find articles that refer to it first, or take a picture. Like Johnny's Hamburgers, you have to know it, to find it. It's surrounded by chains, it's in a dingy building. It's got DVDs in several languages though, and a giant sandwhich board with rotating comments...;

- The Steps, outside a coffee shop in gay town. Alas, during a renovation, The Steps have been torn down. The Steps have been featured as a place of gay community meta exchange in the Torontoian sketch comedy show, The Kids In The Hall. If I can find pictures, there should at least be a mention of it in Torontonian culture or in The Kids In The Hall.
- Johnny's Charcoal Broiled Hamburgers, Toronto.com list it as an old hangout of Mike Myers, and some google hits refer to Myers writing an article once about his two favourite burger joints and this was one, for Toronto Star. Have to dig that up.
