Welcome!
Hello, 98.217.45.69, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia

- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome!
I also wanted to point out that you can make multiple changes at a time, and that if you'd like (if it's easier for you), you can open the dysmenorrhea page, select and copy all the text, edit it offline, and then paste it back in when you're done. Sometimes that's a better approach than dealing with the Wiki interface for hours at a stretch. WhatamIdoing (talk) 18:22, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Friendly suggestion
As you may not be familiar with Wikipedia's "culture": Leaving {{cn}} all over an article is not considered especially helpful nor especially friendly. It's best if you can look for sources yourself, and if you can't find them, then picking the couple of sentences which are most important is better than fact-tagging every unreferenced sentence (which, I assure you, is how it will be perceived). You are more likely to get a response to a couple of requests for assistance with citations than with dozens. WhatamIdoing (talk) 22:14, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- I am fact-tagging every unreferenced sentence. There is nothing "unfriendly" about it; it alerts readers to potentially dubious statements and editors to items for improvement. As far as "looking for sources myself"; I have already added nearly 20 references to the article and am currently seeking out more. It's much easier to improve the article if you can see which statements need references. I would like to continue improving Dysmenorrhea until those citation requests are gone.
- It is precisely the ridiculous, petty, childish "culture" I have observed on talk pages of Wikipedia which keeps me from registering a username. Please don't take fact-tagging personally. 98.217.45.69 (talk) 22:43, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

- And you don't think that anyone else will think that fact-tagging every unreferenced sentence is, um, ridiculous, petty, and/or childish? If there isn't a reference, the reader can see the empty space. WhatamIdoing (talk) 04:38, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Sorry!
I apologize! My trigger was a bit too fast! i have used the rollback feature to remove my edit. I apologize again! :) --Lolipod (talk) 01:15, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you! I admit that it was quite a shock. May I ask what made you think there was a problem? 98.217.45.69 (talk) 01:17, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
