[edit] foliosnap.com
I see that you have been adding links to foliosnap.com. This is a commercial service and therefore the links don't accord with Wikipedia policy, specifically [[1]]. You seem unhappy about it, and think that it should be reconsidered. You're welcome to ask for reconsideration at the foot of this page. Until you've got permission there to add links to this commercial site, please don't add links to it. Thank you. -- Hoary (talk) 11:18, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
REPLY: I feel that certain external links (commerical or not) are relevant. Why would you remove WPPI, for example? I won't waste my time by asking permission, as you have obviously taken control of this topic already. Please consider Wikipedia's readers as a whole rather than your own vision of what this article should contain.
- Let's be clear about "commercial or not": this particular link that you have been added is to a product that can easily cost hundreds of dollars. It's very definitely commercial. You've been most vigorous in adding the link to the article on wedding photography, even though there's nothing about it that's specific to weddings. Yes, I am considering Wikipedia's readers as a whole, by considering not my own vision of what any article should contain but instead what's expressed in WP:EXTERNAL, which is the result of a lot of thinking by a lot of people. -- Hoary (talk) 11:28, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
REPLY: I never said it wasn't commercial. I'm saying commercial isn't always inappropriate if it's relevant to the topic and a useful resource to those researching the topic. I won't waste any more logic on you. Enjoy your autocracy, clown.
