[edit] Concept Album?
Am I the only person who thinks this is a concept album based on 1984? Theres a fair few lines that seem to tie quite nicely in most of the songs, and it would explain the "owner of a lonely heart" video. I invite people to go have a listen with such an idea planted in there head and give me there opinion.--Pypex 17:32, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
From their Union tour, Yes members discussed 90125 as a reinvention album of sorts. They wanted to get away from the "progressive" labels and the idea critics had of Yes being the long-winded aunt or uncle regaling their travels and tales at holiday dinners to the bored family members (the critics/general public) listening for the nth time to their stories. "Owner of a Lonely Heart" was supposed to be a ballad, "Leave It" was supposed to be the first single (instead of OOALH), and Cinema was a 'tribute' to their progressive roots. This, of course, is from what I recall of them speaking about the Union tour but I was a massive Yes fan. But, I don't remember them mentioning anything about 1984, sorry... [edit] Back to 90125 (album)
This page really needs to be where it belongs. All digit sequences are years, even some very long ones. (Note the talk page is already where it should be). Rich Farmbrough, 12:31 9 October 2006 (GMT).
- According to Naming conventions (numbers and dates), "Nonetheless some numbers above a normal date range have another topic than a year, e.g. 4711." The year 90125 is considerably farther in the future than 4711, so I don't think this is much of an issue. Personally, I am indifferent about which title the page should occupy. [edit] Fair use rationale for Image:12 inches.jpg
Image:12 inches.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
