[edit] Flags
Hi, and thank you for your contributions. Please do not add flag icons to articles to show places of birth; they add nothing. WP:FLAG goes into more detail about why this practice is unhelpful. Best wishes, --John 21:46, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
Hi, I was going to point this out to you, but I see that it already has been. Please do not keeping adding flags to articles that do not require them. WP:FLAG goes into why these are not appropriate uses, and points out where flags should be used. Benea 22:19, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for your message. I only deleted the flags you added because they add nothing to the (many) articles you added them to. This is a matter we have been discussing for many months at the Manual of style page you have been linked to twice above. I assure you there is no conspiracy against the
England flag; it would have been the same if they were any flag at all. --John 03:36, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
