Hello! I've noticed that you have edited Wikipedia without logging in to an account. I'm happy that you've been contributing. However, I urge you to create an account. Here is a list of the benefits of having an account:
- You can create new pages
- After a while, you can become an administrator
- After four days, you can edit semi-protected pages
- You can use watchlists
- You can upload images
- You can keep your account from being unfairly blocked if you share an IP
- You can use scripts to better fight annoying vandalism
There are no cons to signing up for an account. In fact, there are more pros here! Signing up is completely free and you don't need to enter any personal information! Plus you can have a cool user page like mine! So, unless you can think of a con, sign up for an account right now! --Agüeybaná 19:18, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
- If I've managed to go three years without creating an account, I doubt I'll make one now. But thanks for the thought. 86.137.25.192 19:27, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
- No prob :-) --Agüeybaná 19:45, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
- BTW, I totally agree with you; anon editors are just as valuable as registered ones, and can understand policy just as well as the rest of us. --Agüeybaná 20:04, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
- What amuses me is if I'd acted like a gormless newbie who didn't know his WP:NPOV from his WP:ATT people would have patronised me to death and treat me like an idiot (or like a tourist, whichever you prefer). And if I show that I know a bit about how Wikipedia works, clearly I'm hiding from my real identity or something. Because non-editors are clearly retarded idiots to be treat with disdain? Ick. 86.137.25.192 20:12, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
