I see that you have twice added the comment "at 555nm wavelength" to the maximum luminous efficacy, as shown in the SI light units template. I have deleted it both times. While I know what you're getting at, the comment is not clear enough to someone unfamiliar with the field, and explaining it properly goes beyond the level of detail appropriate for this template. It is also not really relevant. The highest value of luminous efficacy that can be achieved is 683.002 lm/W. This fact stands on its own, apart from the fact that this efficacy is achieved only for a monochromatic source at a particular wavelength.--Srleffler 04:13, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
