I've included taikonaut in the definition. Wouldn't you agree?

This has been extensively discussed already - see Talk:Astronaut. Whereas astronaut and cosmonaut are formal terms used by the US and Russian manned space programs respectively, taikonaut is used informally in Western media. The accepted English translation of the Chinese word is "astronaut". — Swpb talk contribs 19:54, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
