[edit] welcome!
Welcome to Wikipedia. Please read this before you edit and do not add hiragana to Japanese names. Thank you. Oda Mari (talk) 15:50, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
- I don't see why I can't the name in hiragana. Most people can't read it in kanji anyway if it isn't written in furigana. /83.249.97.252 (talk) 20:46, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

- Hi! I edit articles per Manual of Style (Japan-related articles). Did you read this? If you think to add hiragana to names is needed, ask consensus at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style (Japan-related articles) or Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Japan. Thank you. - Hi again. You seem to believe hiragana is needed. It's not only a matter of the article Tokugawa Ieyasu, you know. If other editors agree with you, then we have to put hiragana all the Japan-related articles. Why don't you create an account and suggest about adding hiragana on the talk pages above and join us? Regards. Oda Mari (talk) 14:12, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
