No, I don't think you did anything wrong. It looks like all you did was fix up some vandalism created by another user, which is a good thing. I'm just trying to avoid additional vandalism. It's pretty common for articles to get a spate of vandalism when they become the subject of a big news event. It should die down pretty quickly. I set the protection on the article to expire in two weeks, and some other admin could well come along before then and unprotect it. If you want to edit the article before then, just create an account and continue to edit as a logged-in user. -- RoySmith (talk) 16:08, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AIV
Just letting you know, generally AIV reports should be for recent (or even ongoing) vandalism -- say, in the last few hours or so. Frequently, people will switch IP addresses in that time, or the IP will be shared among multiple people who may not be involved, is why. There are exceptions, of course -- in this case, the IP has a long history of adding... well, crap... so I've blocked it for a nice, long time. Thanks for bringing that up for admin attention! :) – Luna Santin (talk) 22:30, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
