[edit] England vs. UK

I am not a English nationalist (being an Irish Canadian) but there are times when England is more appropriate than UK. Ransome never lived in Scotland and only visted a few times (while researching Great Northern?) so saying he lived in England is more accurate. Secondly both the Lake District and East Anglia are in England which is more specific than saying the UK. I am reminded of the Scottish Nationalist who saw the grafitti "Down with England" painted on a wall in Ireland and promptly added "and Scotland". Dabbler (talk) 19:09, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
