[edit] June 2008

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to User_talk:Firefoxman. Your edits appeared to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. ffm 22:29, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Hi there! I recently came across your complaint on Firefoxman's talk page, and I thought I'd address some of your points. Here on Wikipedia, thousands of incidents of vandalism take place every day. If those reverting it were to tailor an individual message to each vandal, it would be terribly inefficient, so templates are used for basic warnings. Additionally, from my review of the edits from this account, Firefoxman's initial revert and message was not in error; [1] was not a constructive addition to the encyclopaedia, though it seems to be in good faith. I encourage you to review some of our policies and guidelines (particularly this one) in order to learn how to make more meaningful edits, and perhaps you'll be a good contributor one day, if you wish to be. In the meantime, however, please be a bit more civil when interacting with others here who are just trying to make this project a little bit better. Thanks, --Rory096 23:03, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
