[edit] British nationalism

Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and the articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to British nationalism. Readers looking for serious articles will not find them amusing. I was being entirely serious: Gordon Brown is a British nationalist, not of the (ethnic) type discussed in the article, fair enough, but that is a difficiency in the article. When someone effectively denies the existence of the constituent countries of the UK, mentions "Britain" or "British" 80 + times in his Party Conference speech and uses phrases such as "British jobs for British workers" without either shame or irony - I feel it is entirely appropriate to label them a "British nationalist".

I will not re-edit as it is clearly pointless and "wars" over such a debate are always unseemly, but the fact remains: his whole pitch to the country is based in British nationalism/patriotism.
