[edit] Better clean your own windows before you start cleaning others

Hi, The constant edit wars which you have made on the Mohammed Hegazy article really makes me laugh. Any one looking at your repeated edits which you have made will perceive you as having a serious mental illness which requires urgent checkup from a certified psychiatrist. However, I dont think that is the case. I used to be a relious supremacist nutjob, like you are. So, I know what it is to have an undeserved superiority complex which you obviously have.

As an atheist, I completely agree with you that the Bible is full of contadictory teachings, but what about your Qu'ran? Why do you have a sense of superiority because of your pathetic faith, which you were born into by pure chance? If the Bible has violence, then so does the Qu'ran which is a hundred times more violent. I would like to state a few verses which actually condone violence and intolerance against Polytheists and the Ahl-e-Kitab (People of the Book).

(9:23): "O you who believe! Take not for Auliyâ' (supporters and helpers) your fathers and your brothers if they prefer disbelief to Belief. And whoever of you does so, then he is one of the Zâlimûn (wrong-doers, etc.)."

(8:65): “O Prophet (Muhammad SAW)! Urge the believers to fight. If there are twenty steadfast persons amongst you, they will overcome two hundred, and if there be a hundred steadfast persons they will overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they (the disbelievers) are people who do not understand.”

(8:12): "Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them."

(8:13): "This because they contended against Allah and His Messenger. If any contend against Allah and His Messenger, Allah is strict in punishment."

(8:14): "Thus (will it be said): "Taste ye then of the (punishment): for those who resist Allah, is the penalty of the Fire."

(9:73): "O Prophet (Muhammad SAW)! Strive hard against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be harsh against them, their abode is Hell, - and worst indeed is that destination."

(3:118): "O you who believe! Take not as (your) Bitânah (advisors, consultants, protectors, helpers, friends, etc.) those outside your religion since they will not fail to do their best to corrupt you. They desire to harm you severely. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, but what their breasts conceal is far worse. Indeed We have made plain to you the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses) if you understand."

(33: 60 – 61): “If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease (evil desire for adultery, etc.), and those who spread false news among the people in AlMadinah, cease not, We shall certainly let you overpower them, then they will not be able to stay in it as your neighbors but a little while. Accursed, wherever found, they shall be seized and killed with a (terrible) slaughter.”

There are approximately 123 verses in the Qu'ran which talk specifically about killing. Also, If the Qu'ran is meant for all eternity and must be taken as the exact word of God, then its still applicable today. So, now forget for a minute that you are a Muslim and impartially decide for yourself, "Which is more harmful, (The Bible or Qu'ran)"?

Also, if the Qu'ran is inherently violent in itself and more so than other religions, then does this explain as to why are there actually more terrorists, suicide bombers and violent fundamentalist bigots in Islam than any other faith. Ask yourself whether it is possible to be a good Muslim and at the same time be a good and loyal citizen of a secular democratic country. When, was the last time you heard of a Jew, Christian, Hindu or a Buddhist who blew himself up in a cafe?

If the Qu'ran is violent by its nature, can a good muslim be otherwise. If the Qu'ran was god given, then the outcome would have been peace, love, enlightenment and prosperity, but instead in whichever country Islam has been dominant with Sharia law implemented, there is chaos, hate, bigotry, repression and backwardness.

Also, if the sole purpose of religion is to make a person good and not political, then Islam fails in this respect. After all, the only way out for someone who leaves Islam is death.

I can even quote the Hadith (if you like) to further my claims about Islam.

Please do not take what i have written as a personal insult. I just want to show you the truth about your faith. Please feel free to reply back, if you wish to continue a rational discourse. SantiagoMatamoros (talk)
