[edit] BIGACE
The problem with the BIGACE article as I see it is that the software doesn't appear to be notable, and it is also unverified. Wikipedia articles provide citations from reliable sources for the information in the article. If you can come up with some reliable sources for the article (which would make the article pass WP:V criteria), or provide evidence that it is notable (specifically, if it meets WP:SOFTWARE guidelines), then I will be happy to withdraw my deletion proposal. --AbsolutDan (talk) 20:37, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
Ok, I see, well I am new to writing Wikipedia entrys (I am not new to Wikipedia, but till now, I only used it for research) and probably missed the Guidelines. I thought I could write above this Software, cause I am using it for a longer time now and I think that it is an good alternative to some other "big" open source CMS.
I do not know if there are reliable sources out there. Can these Sources also be other Websites? I never heard about an article in a Magazin or stuff like that... What a pity.
Hm, I guess my first article will be deleted :( I will contact the Software Author, probably he knows more. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.173.150.163 (talk • contribs) 21:15, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- It depends on the website. Someone's personal website or blog isn't generally considered a reliable source, but a big-name website might be ok. 21:34, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
