Could an astronomer fix this? 6727 August 25: Mars occults Regulus the first time since −17619 June 28 Im assuming 17619 is BC? But I don't know where to find that kind of information.

See astronomical year numbering. Because 1 BC = 0, 2 BC = -1, etc., then –17619 = 17620 BC. — Joe Kress 06:26, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
