I've attempted a compromise edit between you and User:Bigpad. I believe that he is correct that the material is pertinent, and that you are correct that as originally presented it did not come across as pertinent. It actually is pertinent, because it demonstrates for reader benefit that his hailing as one of the greats is controversial within the snooker world.
