First of all, I thank you for sending em a detailed email as yo your frustrations with my edits. I certainly appreciate you being polite about it. So many people aren't (as you may or may not have found).
I think maybe we were both laboring under some misunderstandings, JES01995. I was looking for you to provide citations that made changing the birthday necessary as well as the concert dates. I wasn't saying that you were wrong at all. Because Googoosh is a living person, there is a very specific policy on how to write in them called WP:BLP (Biography of Living Persons). You can take a look at that policy if you wish, but essentaily a lot fo it deals with the idea that because the person who we are writing about can be possibly damaged (reputation or livelihood) by what is in the article, practically anything that could be contested must be cited, so as to avoid legal problems. I tend to interpret BLP policy fairly liberal on this, and consider that pretty much everything that isn't common knowledge be cited. I notice that you provided a citation for the birthdate, and that the source was quite excellent. If you give me permission to do so, I will correct the date as you had previously edited and add the citation. The same goes for the concert venues and dates, though it would be better if you had more than one source to confirm the tour dates and locations. It looks like Jeffpw lent a hand there with formatting, so it looks like you are getting double the attention.
