[edit] Virgin Atlantic Airways

I have reverted your edits about the classes. I'm sure it's not right to say that W is equivalent to Business and J is to First, although this is a common belief. The travel industry consensus is that W is a "premium economy/coach" class and that J is a "premium business" class. Of course, I and the other editors of this page could be going mad, in which case, feel free to offer citations that show otherwise ... richi 11:13, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

You are correct in stating the class codes of W and J, but Virgin does this is for business billing purposes. So when a business traveler books premium economy it's billed to his company as economy and when he flies upper class its billed to his company as business class...
Virgin Atlanta Upper Class is not a first class product. The herringbone configuration consists of DOZENS and DOZENS of seats which totally lacks the exclusiveness of a real international first class cabin. Too bad, but Upper class just doesn't cut it ;) Jendeyoung 05:29, 22 August 2007 (UTC) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jendeyoung (talkcontribs).

You truly are incorrect about undoing my edits. Upper class DOES NOT HAVE DOZENS AND DOZENS of seats... I have flown with them and this is truly a first class product. Please see these references

"J" is not the designation for international first class. It is the designation for "premium business class." Google for "premium business class" J for more cites than you can shake a stick at. Or if you're pushed for time, just try [1] ... richi 11:23, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
