[edit] Please do not remove
Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Items and concepts in FLCL. The notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of an article, and removing them is considered vandalism. If you oppose the deletion of an article, you may comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Leebo T/C 23:51, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
1: What the hell are you talking about? I don't know what a FLCL is. Can you provide Apache httpd logs of this vandalism? I manage a network where this is an endpoint of our backup router, and I'd like to terminate the employee who's committing vandalism.
2: Emails to our abuse contact work better than Wikipedia messages.

- Thank you for taking an interest in this, but please note that this was not a severe act of vandalism and my note was informative, because the user may not have been familiar with the policies surrounding the template they removed. It wasn't vandalism in the sense that it was with the intent of hurting the encyclopedia -- but repeated removal would have been perceived as disruption. Please do not take action against the individual responsible unless there is further vandalism. Leebo T/C 03:09, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
I've narrowed it down using Squid logs. Thanks for letting me know abuse@palion is bouncing, abuse@divefox.net should work, or my personal box, jdforius@gmail.com. We've got hundreds of requests to Wikipedia, but I think I found the correct ones, and user sanctions will be taken care of at this end.
I'd like to point out, though, that your user page states you are not an administrator. Who should I contact that does have administrative access so I can correlate my Squid logs with the Apache logs?
- I'll leave a note on the Administrators' Noticeboard and someone with more technical experience can probably help you find what you're looking for. Leebo T/C 03:23, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
- Based on the response at the Administrator's noticeboard, it seems unlikely that this information can be given out because of Wikipedia's privacy policy. You could try contacting the developers, I suppose, but I don't see how it's worth investigating any further based on the edit in question. Leebo T/C 04:01, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
