[edit] February 2008

Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test on the page Abiogenesis worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox. Thank you. There is no reason to convert every "Theory" to Hypothesis. Please stop.

[edit] About above, and thanks

Hey, let me rephrase the above. In your edits here and here, you replaced the word "theory" with "hypothesis".

I will comment more in a bit, but I do want to say I don't characterize those edits as a "test."

Thank you for lending your time to help us improve Wikipedia. If you are interested in editing more often than once in a while, we welcome you to log in and participate in our WikiCommunity. TableMannersC·U·T 06:00, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

Okay. Now, wikipedia certainly needs more editors. However, there are policies, rules, and guidelines here. They take a while to pick up. You might want to start by reading some of the links below:

Welcome!

Hello, 75.26.164.194, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on your talk page. Again, welcome!

I hope this helps, and I hope you stick around to become a productive wikipedian. TableMannersC·U·T 06:01, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] On signing

Also, Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as in User talk:Orangemarlin, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. You do not have to create a new account, but with or without the account, please sign talk page contributions. I know this may be overwhealming, but I do want to be friendly and helpful.
