[edit] Comma
Are you kidding me? Look at the grammar page again (http://englishplus.com/grammar/00000083.htm):
"Incorrect: October 31, 1517 is one of the most significant dates in history. (The comma between the two numbers is OK, but a second comma is needed after the last item, 1517.)
Correct: October 31, 1517, is one of the most significant dates in history."
Thats not what i said, stop using wrong examples!
-
- What? Here's part of the sentence we're talking about: "about the famous October 26, 1881 gunfight." A comma belongs after "1881" just as in the sentence above. MKil 22:12, 6 August 2007 (UTC)MKil
[edit] 91 kg
Why do you continue to reinsert the 91 kgs notation? In the previous sentence it is explained that heavyweight is 90.72 kgs. 200 pounds is converted into kgs once, why the need to do it again (and with an inaccurate figure)? MKil 19:24, 8 August 2007 (UTC)MKil
- It's accurate! 91!
We spoke about that!
-
- It's not accurate. The cruiserweight limit is clearly 90.72 kgs, not 91 kgs. Furthermore, there's no need to make the metric conversion every time 200 lbs is mentioned. MKil 19:36, 8 August 2007 (UTC)MKil
- But read what i wrote on another talk page. Trust me, this is universally accepted and correct.
- I read it and it makes no sense. 90.72 kgs is the cruiserweight limit. Anything over that is a heavyweight. It's not 91 kgs. Furthermore, there is no need to do a metric conversion every time 200 lbs is mentioned. MKil 19:42, 8 August 2007 (UTC)MKil
- Trust me, i traveled the world, i've seen many matches and as explained, 91 is accepted as norm., Stop milking things mkil!
Also the other day I left info on commas and what book to find it, to prove my point on ok corral.
-
- Forgive me if I take the rules and regulations of the WBC, WBA, IBF, and WBO over your word on this. MKil 19:49, 8 August 2007 (UTC)MKil
YOU NEED A DOCTOR! AND THEN SOME... You have serious problems! You accused me of being curps, (who is no longer editing) and God knows how many other names, i dont mind healthy arguments, but you have no life, and you are not a nice many in any shape or form.
- Yes, on Simple Wiki I was confused once and said you were Curps. Of course, I took that back. You were banned under your BoxingWear identity for being a sock puppet of these folks. You know that as well as I. MKil 20:05, 8 August 2007 (UTC)MKil
You never took anything back, ever! If you were a good man, you would work with me and overlook certain things. But you are a bitter man, your life stinks, as a free lance writer (i checked everything on you) you do not have much success and personal happiness, you are a loser who knows how to talk to people, but deep inside holds grudges and hate and that hate will get back at you some day big time...
- Yes, your detective skills are amazing. Almost as good as your English.MKil 20:23, 8 August 2007 (UTC)MKil
You might be rich but not in spirit, i never said that, but you are a low life with no life! And I had to correct your commas many times. Because you are, will die, born in a coma! Good riddance! You came at me with blood on your hands. Something you are real good at, only good thing u know well. And learn how to respect others, for a change!
