which living person?

[edit] Please Stop

Please stop posting your propaganda about "Lack of Asians" on various tv show pages. That material is biased, unsourced personal research, and so is inappropriate for Wikipedia. --Maelwys 20:14, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

DON'T call facts as propaganda, shame on u —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.2.216.91 (talkcontribs)

Will you post this "fact" on every single american show where Asian actors only have minor roles? mirageinred 21:00, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

In reality, there are many Asian male doctors working at many hospitals in the US. i am only asking for real life reflection.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.2.216.91 (talkcontribs)

75.2.216.91, Most of the shows have had Asian characters appear on them. Maybe not in full time roles, but still Asian characters appearing. If you want to add a piece of opinion that these shows lack Asian characters you have to cite a valid source. Fact versus Opinion doesn;t even really matter in lieu of a valid source. That's how wikipedia works.--Dr who1975 21:02, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
We are not going to keep that in the page, no matter how many times you add it in or how desperately you plead with us. If you continue in this fashion, you will be blocked. asyndeton 21:05, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

who are we? do you owe that page? Rosa parks even got sent to jail, you think that you can stop me for adding the fact to that page?! don't be ridiculous

ER is set in Chicage, which is 42% White, 37% Black, and 4% Asian. So having had an asian doctor as a main character for 5 years, and other asian visiting characters occasionally is probably pretty representative of real life. House is set in New Haven, which is 43% White, 37% Black, 4% Asian. They've had several asian visiting character and now having an asian doctor as a main character is probably pretty representative of real life. So unless you can cite a published source of somebody notable complaining about your facts, please stop posting them in those articles. --Maelwys 21:08, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

how many Asians doctors are working at Chicago, do you know? how many Asian medical students are in the US medical schools, do you know? no matter what, there is ZERO Asian male doctor in this show, this is the fact, you can't change that

Huh, when did Asian doctor change to Asian male doctor? If you continue to add this without a source, you will be blocked. mirageinred 21:12, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

send me to jail, i am listing the fact

Unless you can quote an article stating that there are x% male asians in real hospitals and none in on TV hospitals (oh, except on House where there is...), than it's still unsourced original research, and doesn't belong here. The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth. --Maelwys 21:13, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

you can't verify that there is no asian actors in the show? don't be ridiculous now, you can't count?

That would be original research. It helps to know what Wikipedia is before listing your opinion. see WP:OR. mirageinred 21:15, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
I can't verify that it's notable that there are no asian actors in the show. Oh, except for all the ones that we've already named, of course. --Maelwys 21:15, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

which one did you name?

Kal Penn, a new main character on House. --Maelwys 21:21, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on House (TV series). Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. good, you should give warnings to all those others. I am only listing the fact, if you want to ban me for listing the fact, so be it, I shall be the Rosa Parks on this board! Equal justice for all! equal employment for all! --75.2.216.91 21:21, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

I am a Korean if you haven't noticed already. mirageinred 21:23, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
I guess Kal Penn isn't asian enough for you and that Jesse Spenser is TOO foreign. --Vinnyvinny2 21:34, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.
