...proof that the evolution of the horse never happened.
My main meaning is that this is stated in a nonsensical way. To merely state the number of ribs, with no references given, and claim that this is a scientific proof that merits inclusion in an encyclopedia is a bit nonsensical. I don't mean to say that the idea that 'evolution is false' is nonsense. Perhaps I could have used a better tag. If the material is to be added, it needs to be referenced and not worded with terms like 'impossible' and 'proof' that it didn't happen. Proof and impossible are not really scientific words, as research in science simply 'supports' or 'fails to support' hypotheses. Anyway, this article isn't the place to argue whether 'evolution' happened or not, there are other forums for that. These additions seem to lose objectivity in the absence of references and the particular wording you chose.
...making this impossible to be an ancestor of the horse.
Why not find a quote from someone who thinks this particular animal wasn't an ancestor and quote that person? They would have to have a scientific reason for doing so to make it notable though. With a little savvy, you can report the various views on things while also remaining objective. --DanielCD 19:07, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
