User talk:75.100.82.191
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
- I don't understand the "block message." Can you explain what I should do?
{{help}} Apparently there's been a lot of vandalism edit coming from the same IP address that you're using, that is, 75.100.82.191. I'm not completely sure, but I think the block on that IP address doesn't let you edit Wikipedia (except this talk page) if you're not logged in as a registered user, but does let you edit if you're logged in.
Normally, it's very easy to register an account and log in with a name or pseudonym. You just click "log in/register" in the upper right corner, and enter a name (or pseudonym) and password to create an account. Then you will be editing with a named account, not just an IP address.
For example, if you click "history" at the top of this page, you'll see that the edits you did are marked with just your IP address, but my edits are marked with my username, "Coppertwig". You need to get a username like that. Then you'll be able to edit from this IP address.
If you already have an account, just log into your account and then you will be able to edit.
It might or might not be possible to create a new account from this IP address. If it's not possible, then you need to send an email to Unblock-en-l@lists.wikimedia.org and ask them for assistance. I believe that they will help you register an account, and once you have your account you can log in and then you can edit Wikipedia whenever you are logged in, even if you're on a computer that's on this blocked IP address.
I hope this helps, and I hope I got the information right. --Coppertwig (talk) 02:54, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 02:55, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

You know, I think you should consider joining Wikipedia instead of trying to vandalize it. I also think your unique talents may be of use to certain users over on the Chinese Wikipedia who have been blocked by the Commies from editing Wikipedia. So how about it? want to join Wikipedia and help out? Just click on the link at the top-right of the page and follow the instructions. It is very fast and easy and requires no information other than an email address. I hope you'll consider joining. We need all the constructive editors we can get. P.S. If this is not the person who was vandalizing last night from 75.10.82.190, we would still love to see you join Wikipedia and contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. Thingg⊕⊗ 04:07, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
- I just don't give up easily... I'm just trying. If you're a hopeless cause, fine. That's cool. Thingg⊕⊗ 04:17, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Nazi Party, you will be blocked from editing. Gwernol 04:50, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

- I just don't understand why you have to keep vandalizing Wikipedia. Does it make you feel powerful to see your nonsense on a webpage for 0.23 seconds? Well, if you want to get the total range of IP addresses available to you blocked permanantly, you're on the right track. Congratulations.
