[edit] Your edits

I've reverted your edits because they replaced several dates en-masse. Do you have any sorts of reliable sources to back the dates up?-Wafulz 22:46, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

Why, certainly! Alice in Wonderland was originally released in 1986 & had that artwork, so the cover is from 1986. This link here says http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/5874/923/1600/bambiclassics.jpg says The 3 Caballeros was a best seller in 1989, which means the movie originally came out in 1988, not 1991. It also identifies in 1989 that when Bambi came out, Dumbo & The Sword in the Stone were newly repackaged & they're different from the 1's uploaded on the Walt Disney Classics article. So, the 1's uploaded in that article is from 1990. Sleeping Beauty came out October 14, 1986, so those 1986 prints of the 1st 5 titles of that article were repackaged that day as well. Dumbo was on VHS in 1991 to celebrate the film's 50th anniversary, which was in theaters October 23, 1941, which is Wednesday in 1991 & nothing ever happens Wednesday. The nearest release date towards that date is September 20, 1991, the same day The Rescuers Down Under came out, so the 1991 VHS of Dumbo came out that date. According to Canadiana's talk page, Fantasia dropped out of print December 20, 1991 & I discovered a Chistmas VHS from 1991 on eBay, so that means the glitch copy of Fantasia came out December 24, 1991, which was the same day that the 1991 edition of The Sword in the Stone came out, as a platinum release. Alice in Wonderland was also on VHS in 1991 to celebrate the film's 40th anniversary, which was in theaters July 28, 1951, which is Sunday in 1991 & as everyone knows, there's nothing open or anything happening on Sunday. The nearest release date towards that date is July 19, 1991, the same day "White Fang" came out that day, as identified here at http://cgi.ebay.com/White-Fang-1991-VHS_W0QQitemZ260161221117QQihZ016QQcategoryZ309QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem, exactly a week after the 1991 Robin Hood VHS came out, which means that the 40th anniversary edition of Alice in Wonderland came out on the same day "White Fang" came out. There you have it. Skymac207 17:44, 21 September 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.75.97.19 (talk)

Actually, I say that those 1991 re-releases of "Dumbo", "Alice in Wonderland" and "The Sword in the Stone" all came out on May 3, 1991, because that's the same day "The Jungle Book" came out. You're just making the dates up yourself (except for the white clamshell re-releases of the first five Classics titles)! Also, the "Alice in Wonderland" VHS cover art that's uploaded does not have the letters "VHS" on the bottom (although the 5/28/86 and 10/14/86 editions did), so the cover art is from 1988. I'm not making them up! They are real! They were released for anniversary editions, although Sword in the Stone came out for a platinum release. Also, Alice in Wonderland was released 1986 & it has the artwork seen here. It is from 1986. Skymac207 21:26, 28 September 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.227.79.129 (talk)
