[edit] Mega Drive / Genesis
As you'll see, I've started a section on the talk page about this. Please comment on it to explain why you keep changing this. — ThomasHarte 09:55, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- Please be aware that you are getting close to a violation of the three revert rule as you continue to blankly revert Template:Dedicated video game consoles. Please explain your actions. — ThomasHarte 09:49, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
There is a world outside the U.S., where it was known as the Mega Drive. - Diceman 05:55, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your edits to Xbox 360
Would you please explain this edit? Your lack of edit summaries makes it impossible for me to know why you insist on adding this false statement. I rewrote the redundant text "Upon its release the Xbox 360 became the first console to..." to the more concise "The Xbox 360 is the first console to"; why do you prefer the former, which I think most would agree is not as well written? Pagrashtak 04:02, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
- Any more reversions and you will be blocked. Please discuss changes such as this before making them. Thank you. --Woohookitty(meow) 11:20, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you.
- Stop reverting the PlayStation 3 bandwidth statement. You lost. At least for now. If you want to change it, go to the talk page. It's near the top, two tabs from the right of the Wikipedia logo. Thanks. --24.7.86.143 02:31, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fair Use
Please do not readd these images to XBox 360. The photos of the boxes are replaceable, and the cover art is not Fair Use outside of the context of the cover being discussed. ed g2s • talk 13:57, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- The user above is incorrect, box art images are not replaceable. You may want to take a look at Wikipedia_talk:Fair_use#FUC.231_and_box_art. Just taking a picture or scan of the box art would be a derivative work of the box art. It would still be fair use, Microsoft would still hold the copyright to the image. - Hahnchen 17:36, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Ninja Gaiden 2
Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. Dancter 22:41, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Commentless reverting
You seem to have a history of doing this, if you do this again on Xbox 360 article where there are copyright concerns, you will be blocked. ed g2s • talk 02:13, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
- This is a final warning. If you readd, or remove the copyright notices without discussion you will be blocked. ed g2s • talk 12:11, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
You cannot remove imagevio tags while they are still listed at "Copyright problems". Please stop. ed g2s • talk 11:41, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
