[edit] Lady Kennard, etc.
The descendants of Prince Nikolaus Wilhelm's oldest daughter are not in line because she was born a month before her parents married. Thus, she is considered illegitimate according to the line of succession, even though her parents' subsequent marriage did legitimized her, her descendants are still not included in the line. [edit] Re: Lady Kennard, etc.
I read that Prince Nikolaus Wilhelm married the mother of Countess Sophie de Torby on July 1, 1867 (http://www3.dcs.hull.ac.uk/cgi-bin/gedlkup/n=royal?royal04794), and that Countess Sophie de Torby, the ancestress of Lady Kennard, etc., was born on April 20, 1868.
- According to Paul Theroff's Online Gotha, the marriage occured July 1, and Sophie was born on June 1. The Peerage also gives these dates. Morhange 06:58, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
