[edit] Sessions
By the dates, the information on sessions seems wrong. The "special session" was the traditional special session of the senate to confirm Roosevelt's appointments, lasted only three days (March 4-6), and could not pass legislation because the House hadn't met or organized yet. Roosevelt also called congress to assemble in an emergency session in March, and that passed the laws noted, but also stayed in session until June and passed all the legislation we say was passed by the supposedly distinct "first session." john k (talk) 17:28, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
- That sounds like good stuff. If you can find sources for that information, then make the edits.—Markles 22:35, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
- This certainly suggests as much. john k (talk) 05:46, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
