This heavy machine gun is made to be mounted on almost any Romanian main battle tank ranging from the TR-85 M1 to the T-55. It is the same caliber as the heavy machine gun used by personnel on the field but this is bigger and, as said, mounted on tanks to be used against infantry to lightly armoured vehicles. Not all tanks may be equipped with this weapon. Strangely, this machine gun does not have an official name. It also does not look like the basic Ak-47 design unlike other Romanian and Russian weapons.
