Dear user 72.86.14.75: I wonder if you could provide the reason for reintroducing the material about the Steel Magnolia Bed & Breakfast. Use the Discussion Page at Talk:Steel_Magnolias. Do you have a source for the statement, which seems to me and to one other editor to fall into the "advertising" category? I suggest you turn to the WP:NOT#ADVERTISING section, where you will read: "Articles about companies and products are acceptable if they are written in an objective and unbiased style. Furthermore, all article topics must be third-party verifiable," There's also a section at WP:Notability which states "Advertising is prohibited as an official Wikipedia policy. Advertising should be removed by following these steps, in order: Clean up per Wikipedia:neutral point of view WP:POV. Delete remaining advertising content from the article." The editors working on this article would appreciate hearing from you, I am sure. Sincerely, GeorgeLouis (talk) 07:30, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

Dear user 72.86.14.75: Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Rob Bell. If you continue to add excessive criticism and potentially libelous material to the biography page of a living person without vetting them through the talk page for discussion, your changes will be reported as vandalism. Your most recent changes have been reverted.--Lyonscc (talk) 22:00, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] December 2007

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Rob Bell. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. This is important, let me deal with it so you do not violate the 3RR Alexfusco5 22:20, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Please try to discuss your changes and meet consensus or I will request semi-protection (which prevents anonymous editing to Rob Bell) Alexfusco5 12:33, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
I have moved the changes which appear to be at issue in the discussion for the article. Please take your dispute there and discuss them with the community.--Thunderbolt2002 (talk) 14:51, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Spam Warning

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to User:Jacksinterweb. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. —DerHexer (Talk) 23:21, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] No Personal attacks

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive comments.
If you continue to make personal attacks on other people as you did at User:Jacksinterweb, you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Wikipedia's policies forbidding personal attacks are non-negotiable; blanking another editor's page are replacing with "fag" is completely inappropriate. Edit summaries like "You enjoy gross violations of your anus, so why would this be so bad?" also are a violation of Wikipedia's civility policies. Benjiboi 00:49, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
